I Gave A Gypsy A Ride ( It ended in disaster )

We travel from Bucharest through Romania and across the Danube into Bulgaria, arriving in Ruse and exploring its railway station, architecture, mosaics, history and riverside setting. We continue to Varna, visiting the Black Sea and reflecting on the city’s communist-era tourism and monuments. We then drive through rural Bulgaria, stopping in communist towns and villages, abandoned schools and post offices, historic monuments, and finally making our way toward Buzludzha.
