I Investigated Assad's Torture Prison ( Hell On Earth )

We visited the notorious Palestine Branch and Sadnaya prison, exploring abandoned cells, processing areas, kitchens and execution sites while examining the possessions and records left behind. We met people searching for information about relatives who disappeared and heard firsthand accounts of the torture and terrible conditions prisoners endured. We ended the trip in Damascus, where people were celebrating the fall of Assad's regime and expressing hopes for a free and democratic Syria.
