I Investigated China's Forbidden Border With North Korea

We travel from Beijing by train to Yantai, exploring rural China, local streets, restaurants, and communist-era apartment neighborhoods along the way. After finding a ferry ticket, we cross the Yellow Sea to Dalian, passing a North Korean ship and learning about the area's Chinese, Russian, and Japanese history. We also explore Dalian's Russian influences and discover the challenges of traveling through China without speaking the language.
