I Investigated Tibet: China's Forbidden Province

We travelled by train across the Tibetan plateau to Lhasa, meeting Chinese and Tibetan passengers while experiencing the high altitude and spectacular mountain scenery. We explored Lhasa, visited the Jokhang Temple, met pilgrims and monks, and tried a frightening amusement-park roller coaster. We then left the capital with our guides to explore rural Tibet, see major construction projects and historic sites, and learn about the 1904 British military campaign near the Nepalese border.
