I'm In Macedonia! Wait, Where Is Macedonia?

We left rainy Budapest and flew to Macedonia, arriving in Skopje and taking a bus into the city. We explored the quiet streets, the river, historic bridges, enormous statues, and the striking mix of old and modern buildings. We tried burek, found an affordable hostel, and planned to climb the nearby mountain for views over Skopje.
