I Made it to a Secret Country in the Amazon

We return to Guyana after an unpleasant visit years earlier and explore Georgetown, visiting its lively streets, markets, fish stalls, and local food spots. We learn about the country’s culture and rapid development while meeting welcoming residents. We then travel deep into the Amazon, shop for gifts, visit a shaman and an indigenous Makushi community, and share a traditional meal with them.
