We moved into The Redwoods retirement community for two days and spent time meeting residents, sharing meals, attending a Tai Chi class, and listening to live music. We formed friendships with Dorothy, a 102-year-old resident, Patricia, and Barbara, learning about their lives and wisdom. We then organized a surprise birthday celebration and adventure for the women at a nearby hotel.
