I Ran in the Pyongyang Marathon (North Korea)

We ran the 10K at the Pyongyang Marathon, starting and finishing in a packed stadium with thousands of spectators. We used the event to walk through Pyongyang, interact with local spectators, and enjoy the unusual freedom to move around within the marked boundaries. Afterward, we joined locals and foreigners at beer tents and reflected on the marathon as the highlight of our North Korea trip.
