I Reached the Last Cannibal Tribes - The Korowai Tribe

We traveled through Papua, taking several flights and then trekking for about four days through the rainforest to reach the isolated Korowai people. We were welcomed with local flute music, met a family, and learned that their ancestors practiced cannibalism during conflicts between clans, a tradition that has largely disappeared with the spread of Christianity. We also saw how government relocation and modern life have changed the Korowai's way of living.
