I Returned to the Most Dangerous, Strangest, and Ugliest Market in the World!! And We Freed the Cats

We returned to the market in Manado after two years to see whether anything had changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. We explored the sale of dogs and cats, spoke with sellers and local residents about the practice, and learned that some people viewed the animals as food or medicine. We bought and released several cats and met people from the community who were trying to rescue them.
