I Spent A Day With Kim Jong's Actual Bodyguard

We spend a day with Kang, a former personal bodyguard of Kim Jong-il, who shares insights into his life in North Korea. We visit a bustling fish market in Seoul, where we enjoy a meal together and discuss his childhood, education, and views on propaganda. Later, we explore a traditional South Korean village and a K-pop district, learning about his escape to South Korea and the adjustments he's made. We then meet another North Korean defector, Kang Jin, at an American bar, sharing stories and reflecting on the unexpected camaraderie between us.
