I Spent A Week in the D.R. Congo

We spent seven days exploring North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo alongside our local friend Obed. We visited Goma, trekked to see mountain gorillas in Virunga National Park, explored the grassy hills of Masisi, and attended a local wedding. We also hiked Mount Nyiragongo to see its enormous lava lake before relaxing on a private island in Lake Kivu.
