I stayed in Extreme accommodation on the Everest Base Camp Trek

We explore a basic lodge along the Everest Base Camp Trek, looking at the simple rooms, unheated beds, cold temperatures and different bathroom options. We also discuss bringing toilet paper, washing clothes by hand and gathering in the dining room around the stove after a day of trekking. Finally, we try dal bhat, a popular Nepalese dish, and explain that lodges often have limited electricity, reception and Wi-Fi.
