I Took My Dog on Scotland’s Most Dramatic Trail (75 Miles)

We hike the unofficial, unmarked Skye Trail across the Isle of Skye with our dog, navigating bogs, glens, mountain ridges and cliffs over several days. We wild camp, shelter from heavy rain in a bothy, skip a long tarmac section by bus, and tackle the exposed Trotternish Ridge. Along the way, we visit the Old Man of Storr, reflect on disconnecting from technology, and embrace the challenge of navigating Scotland’s rugged landscapes.
