I Traveled to the Abandoned City of the Rich in Cyprus

We explored Nicosia, the world's only divided capital, and crossed between Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Cyprus through the Green Line. We learned about the island's history, the 1974 division, the United Nations buffer zone, and the abandoned city of Varosha. We also spoke with local residents about life on both sides, the island's political future, and the possibility of reunification.
