I Tried Afghanistan’s Most Famous Kebab

We traveled from Kabul to Jalalabad along a dangerous mountain road and experienced the warm Pashtun hospitality of the region. We visited Adam Khan’s famous chapli kebab shop, learned about his family recipe, and tried the large kebabs topped with egg. We then traveled to a village known for shir yakh, a traditional Afghan ice cream made with fresh milk, sugar, ice, and salt.
