We explored unusual hotels across Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, including a sleeping pod in a train station, a robot-operated hotel, a manga-themed hotel, and a gaming hotel. We also traveled overnight on the Sunrise Train and stayed in a traditional compartment. Finally, we visited Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan near Mount Fuji, the world’s oldest hotel, where we experienced a traditional tatami room and hot springs.
