I Was Detained on the American Border (Terrifying Experience)

We drove from Mexico City toward the Texas border, stayed at a beautiful campsite, and met travelers and locals along the way. We visited a Mexican family near Saltillo, enjoyed a vegan barbecue, and experienced their incredible hospitality. At the U.S. border in Nuevo Laredo, we were detained, repeatedly questioned, searched, and handcuffed before finally being allowed to enter Texas with a six-month visa.
