I Went to Syria & Came Home With 16 Free Gifts

We traveled through Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Latakia, Tartus, Sadad, Maloula, Sucalabia, and surrounding villages, where we experienced remarkable Syrian hospitality. We received 16 unexpected gifts, including food, drinks, sweets, tea, coffee, souvenirs, banknotes, and oranges from people we met along the way. We reflected on how generosity toward visitors shaped our life-changing trip before leaving Syria for Lebanon.
