I Went to the Closed Border Between Algeria and Morocco

We visited the closed Algerian-Moroccan border, where we watched people and families wave to one another across fences and heard about the history behind the border closure. We explored Maghnia’s markets and then traveled to Tlemcen, visiting its ancient caves and the El Abad complex, including the mausoleum of Sidi Boumediene. We also learned about Tlemcen’s history, culture, and Zayyanid heritage before concluding our journey through Algeria.
