I Went To The Poorest Slum In The Philippines

We travel deep into Tondo with Deanna, navigating crowded streets, riding tricycles, and crossing a dangerous freeway to reach families living beneath a bridge beside polluted, flood-prone water. We meet residents, learn about their homes, work, hardships, and resilience, and distribute rice to families in the community. We also visit our tricycle driver’s home and hear how he escaped life under the bridge, supported his children’s education, and continues working for a better future before giving financial help to two families.
