We spent two weeks travelling around Indonesia, visiting Jakarta, East Java, Bali, Gili T, Lombok and Komodo National Park. We share advice about transport, accommodation, activities and costs, including tips for getting around East Java, visiting Mount Bromo, Tumpak Sewu and Ijen Volcano, and booking ferries and boat trips. We also explain what we would have liked to know before visiting each destination, such as avoiding Jakarta on a Monday and travelling with others to share transport costs.
