Insane Animal Market | Local Bus to Otavalo, Ecuador

We took a bus from Quito to Otavalo to visit its animal market, where we saw cows, pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, and other animals being sold. We explored the artisan market and sampled local foods including fruit, fried plantains with cheese, street-vendor potatoes and sausage, corn, and a traditional lunch. After a full day of experiencing local Ecuadorian culture, we returned to Quito by bus.
