Inside a Guesthouse in Ukraine

We travel into the remote Carpathian village of Shibane and stay with a local Hutsul family, learning about their traditions and way of life. We tour the traditional homestay, try on hand-embroidered clothing, make and eat vareniki, and share a meal of homemade food. We also visit a local molfar before reflecting on the village’s history, hospitality, and untouched mountain setting.
