We visit Babcock Ranch in southwestern Florida, a planned community designed to be America’s first solar-powered town. We explore its solar panels, driverless shuttles, solar trees, energy-producing workout machines, free Wi-Fi, water treatment systems, and surrounding nature reserve. We also meet a resident and see the town’s homes, schools, shops, restaurants, gyms, and other facilities as it continues to grow.
