Inside Crazy Northern Ghana (it's another planet)

We explored Tamale, the capital of northern Ghana, visiting markets and workshops and speaking with local people about rising prices, limited jobs, difficult working conditions, and everyday life. We visited a butcher, bought and prepared a cow’s head, met families and traders, and compared the region’s culture, landscape, and Muslim communities with Accra and northern Nigeria. We then flew back to Accra with the cow’s head before leaving Ghana.
