Inside East Ukraine War Zone (surrounded by bombing)

We explored Kharkiv during heavy Russian bombardment, documenting damaged buildings, deserted streets, military checkpoints, and attempts to reach recently liberated villages near the frontline. We spoke with residents about shelling, occupation, displacement, and their determination to remain and rebuild. We also visited a metro station where families were sheltering from the attacks and living in the train carriages.
