Inside Empty Venezuelan Supermarket (Depressing)

We drove from Caracas up the coast, stopping at a coffee shop, beaches, and small towns while observing the natural beauty and speaking with local residents. In Chirimena, we explored an almost empty grocery store and learned how shortages, inflation, reduced tourism, and migration have affected the community. We also visited a local home, discussed government food packages and the town’s decline, and spent the evening overlooking the coast.
