Inside Honduras' Most Dangerous Neighborhood (harsh reality)

We explored gang-controlled neighborhoods in San Pedro Sula and Chamelecón, learning how residents cope with violence, extortion, and the constant threat of danger. We visited homes devastated by successive hurricanes, where families were clearing mud and living in temporary shelters with little government assistance. We also spoke with residents and a taxi driver about migration, poverty, security, and the contrast between the city’s impoverished areas and its wealthier neighborhoods.
