Inside New York's Smallest Apartments

We explore some of Manhattan’s smallest apartments, starting with a tiny Greenwich Village apartment shared by two artists and then visiting single-room units in the East Village. We meet residents living with shared bathrooms, limited storage, little or no natural light, and serious maintenance problems, while learning how they adapt to the cramped spaces. We also tour a slightly larger two-level room and see the creative ways residents use multipurpose furniture and storage to make life in Manhattan work.
