We explored Juba, South Sudan’s capital, visiting a cemetery where families live, riverside communities, roadside workers, local businesses, and a protection-of-civilians camp. We met people affected by conflict, tribal violence, flooding, poverty, and displacement, and heard about the dangers and hardships they face. We also visited a UNICEF clinic and hospital treating severely malnourished children, where we learned about ready-to-use therapeutic food and the hope it provides.
