Is Heli Skiing Worth the $$$?

We travel to Terrace, Canada, with four friends to spend three days heli skiing and staying at a remote mountain lodge. We learn avalanche and helicopter safety procedures before skiing enormous amounts of untouched powder across a vast mountain area. After witnessing an avalanche and adjusting our plans because of the danger and changing snow conditions, we decide heli skiing is an incredible but weather-dependent experience that is worth it for passionate skiers.
