Is This Really Europe?!

We travel north through Russia from Yoshkar-Ola to Kirov, then head to the small town of Murigino to explore its roads, church, Soviet-era buildings, and library. We speak with local people, experience provincial Russian life, and reflect on the similarities between these cities and the rest of Europe. Finally, we take a long bus journey to Syktyvkar in the Komi Republic, where we check into a modest hotel and look around the city.
