Is Ukraine Safe? Travel Advice

We share our experiences traveling through Ukraine, including visits to Odessa, Kyiv, Chernobyl, Lviv, and smaller villages, where we encountered friendly people, affordable prices, and no serious safety problems. We discuss transportation, accommodation, nightlife, local culture, and the differences between the safer western areas we visited and conflict-affected parts of eastern Ukraine. We conclude that Ukraine is an underrated and affordable destination, especially for budget travelers.
