Jerusalem, Israel's Old City (not what we expected)

We explored Jerusalem’s Old City in one day, visiting the Temple Mount, the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre while learning about their significance to Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. We wandered through the city’s quarters, ate falafel and drank fresh juice, and finished by watching the sunset over Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. We experienced a mix of awe and emotional exhaustion as we navigated the city’s immense history, religious importance, and crowds.
