Journey To Pakistan Mountains Incredible Day in the Wilderness

We traveled from Abbottabad into the mountains of northern Pakistan, following part of the original Silk Road toward Nathia Gali. We met local people, stopped for chai, learned about life in the region, and discussed how tourism and media coverage affect Pakistan. After exploring the snowy mountain town and eating chicken karai and mixed vegetables, we left ahead of a major snowstorm.
