We travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara with Alex and Justine along a notoriously dangerous, crowded and bumpy road, recalling a previous collision on the route. We stop for snacks and traditional Nepalese food, including momos and thali, while watching trucks make risky maneuvers. After a long journey, we arrive in Pokhara during heavy rain, find an inexpensive room, and plan to explore the lake by bike the next day.
