Kazakhstan Is Sooo Cheap!

We explored Astana’s Expo, a huge glass sphere focused on renewable energy, and learned about the city’s solar-powered transport and ambitious plans to become a smart, technologically advanced city. We checked prices for SIM cards, food, water, transport, the Expo ticket, and an Airbnb, finding the city surprisingly affordable and developed. We also visited a shopping mall and shared plans to continue traveling through Kazakhstan before crossing the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan by cargo ship.
