Kazakhstan Surprised Me

We explore Aktau, Kazakhstan, after waking up to views of the Caspian Sea and waiting to learn whether we can take a cargo ship to Baku, Azerbaijan. We walk through the city, visit the beach, fly a drone over the coastline, see a shell-covered beach and a snake, and learn about the Caspian Sea and local culture. We end the day watching the sunset and talking with locals while wondering whether we will manage to leave by boat.
