Kazan - Russia

We explored Kazan in Tatarstan with Ahmed, learning about the city’s Muslim culture, halal food, and its status as a republic within Russia. We visited a canteen and saw how mosques and churches coexist in the city. We also heard the story of Queen Katya and Ivan the Terrible and the building where she was buried.
