We explored La Paz after dealing with altitude sickness and a stomach bug, stopping for local foods like salteñas, humintas, and an avocado sandwich. We joined a walking tour through a local market and the Witches’ Market, learning about Bolivian traditions, rituals, and dehydrated llama fetuses. We also visited a local prison, saw Carnival celebrations, and ended the tour with a drink at a local bar.
