Leaving Antarctica for the Usa (95 hours of travel)

We spent our final day in Antarctica exploring Walker Bay, where we saw enormous elephant seals, and Deception Island, an active volcanic crater with a fascinating abandoned whaling station. We crossed the rough Drake Passage, endured a stormy night at sea, and returned to Ushuaia before traveling through Buenos Aires, Miami, and Washington, D.C. After 95 hours of travel, we finally made it home and prepared for our next adventure.
