Leaving Uruguay | Sky Airlines

We woke up before dawn, took a bus from La Paloma to Montevideo, and flew to Santiago, where we struggled to find a last-minute place to stay. After arranging transportation and exchanging money, we explored the city and ate empanadas at a local restaurant. We ended the day settling into our apartment and explaining that our planned camper van trip to the Atacama Desert had fallen through.
