Lebanon Surprised Me. لبنان

We walked from our apartment to Byblos, passing banana plantations and the Mediterranean coast before exploring the lively seaside town, its old streets, souks, and castle. We met friendly locals, sampled the atmosphere, and talked about Lebanon’s blend of Arab and European influences. After buying some snacks, we hitchhiked back to the apartment and ended the day with a beautiful sunset.
