Life in Aleppo, Syria Post-War

We explored the old square and the ancient Aleppo Citadel, taking in the city's history and views while hearing bombs in the distance. We walked through the streets, sampled tamarind juice, falafel, and fresh corn, and visited vendors selling traditional olive oil soap. We also saw reconstruction underway and spoke with residents about the war, displacement, and their hopes for Aleppo's future.
