We travel from Jeddah to the remote Qasim region of central Saudi Arabia, where we spend two days living with Bedouin nomads among the sand dunes and camels. We visit an abandoned desert settlement, meet a camel herder, learn how he calls his camels, and share a traditional meal and evening prayers with the community. The next morning, we have breakfast with the Bedouins and reflect on their hospitality, culture, and changing way of life.
