Lost In Mexico City

We set off from Mexico City with friends, wearing ponchos to blend in, and picked up a small Nissan before beginning our drive toward Sinaloa. Along the way, we got lost, stopped for roadside tacos and other Mexican street food, and argued over the navigation and driving. We were surprised by how modern, green, and safe Mexico felt, despite our nervousness about entering cartel country.
