Making Moroccan Pottery By Hand!

We continued through the Atlas Mountains toward the Sahara Desert, stopping at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking a valley lined with hundreds of kilometers of palm trees and visiting a historic library. We explored a pottery workshop, tried shaping clay on a traditional wheel, and learned how the pots are dried, painted, and fired. We ended the day with lunch in the last town before the Sahara Desert.
