Maldives Travel Documentary | The Pearls of the Indian Ocean

We traveled through the Maldives, learning about its geography and exploring the beaches, jungles, house reefs, and surrounding waters of Soneva Fushi. We encountered dolphins, tropical birds, reef fish, corals, flying foxes, and blacktip reef sharks while discovering the islands by boat, bicycle, and on foot. We also learned about the threats facing the Maldives, including climate change, coral loss, plastic pollution, and waste management, as well as local efforts to address them through coral propagation and recycling.
