Mauritius Travel Documentary | Indian Ocean Treasure Chest

We began our journey by driving around Mauritius, visiting the Dutch landing site, coastal beaches, national parks, Cap Malheureux, and several resorts. We explored coral reefs by snorkeling and scuba diving, learned about Mauritian cuisine and rum, climbed Le Pouce, and observed endemic wildlife including flying foxes, rare birds, pink pigeons, and giant tortoises. We also learned about the island’s conservation challenges, invasive species, extinct dodos, and the environmental impact of sugarcane cultivation and litter.
